For Comcast Advertising Sales Representatives
Overview
This FAQ is designed to help Comcast Advertising Sales reps understand and confidently speak to the Clarivoy Attribution Program. It outlines who Clarivoy is, how this collaboration works, and how to onboard dealers seamlessly.
Who is Clarivoy?
Clarivoy is a trusted leader in automotive marketing technology, specializing in sales attribution and website visitor intelligence. Clarivoy provides powerful tools to help partners understand which marketing channels actually drive traffic, leads, and vehicle sales.
Clarivoy works with many top automotive brands, dealers, and advertising platforms to provide unbiased, third-party attribution reporting.
What is the Comcast + Clarivoy Collaboration?
This collaboration allows Comcast Advertising to prove the value of its multiscreen TV campaigns by measuring:
- Dealer and Marketplace Website visits after ad exposure (default)
- Optional: Leads and sales attribution (premium add-ons)
Clarivoy acts as a neutral measurement partner. Comcast sends household-level impression logs to Clarivoy, which matches those to web activity using Clarivoy tracking tags already installed on dealer and third-party websites.

Common Questions from Comcast Reps
Q: Who is Clarivoy?
A: Clarivoy is an independent measurement and attribution company focused on automotive marketing performance. They help prove the value of Comcast Advertising by connecting ad exposure to real dealership activity.
Q: How do I get a dealer started?
A: Use the Dealer Signup Form. Clarivoy takes it from there.
Q: What do I tell a dealer if they ask what Clarivoy does?
A: You can say: “Clarivoy is a trusted partner who independently measures the impact of your TV ads on dealership website traffic, leads, and sales.”
Q: Can a dealer see the report?
A: Comcast manages delivery of results to the dealer. Clarivoy sends attribution reports to Comcast, not directly to the dealer.
Q: What if the dealer already has Clarivoy?
A: Great! That speeds things up. Clarivoy will still need the dealer to sign a specific Comcast-related data use agreement.
Q: How long does it take?
A: Typically 7–10 business days after receiving all necessary data (dealer agreement + impression logs).
Q: What will the rollout of this look like?
A: Over the coming months, we'll be rolling this out in a carefully controlled, phased manner. First, Anthony and Brendan will pinpoint suitable clients for activation. They will then schedule a call with the relevant Account Executives and Auto Sales Dev to discuss these clients before jointly engaging in conversations with the dealers. As the automation and operational workflows become well-defined and optimized, we'll broaden eligibility, allowing sellers to introduce this more widely. We'll announce when this expanded availability begins.
Q: Will this work with Cable Interconnects that we control?
A: Yes
Q: Are we going to also measure from DirecTV/Dish, which makes up a lot of our HHs in many markets?
A: No, our measurement will focus solely on Comcast households, as that's the advertising exposure data available to us.
Q: Are we able to offer this when agencies are involved?
A: Yes
Q: How do we know which dealers are already signed up with Clarivoy?
A: We frequently compare Clarivoy's active dealer list against CA's to find shared customers. We're also looking into better ways to provide access to this list.
Q: Is it fair to assume that many of the national broadcast groups also have access to the Clarivoy reporting -- Scripps, NBCU, Sinclair, etc.?
A: Currently, Comcast Advertising is the first to develop this kind of partnership with Clarivoy. However, once a more scalable solution is market-ready, other companies may quickly follow suit.
Onboarding FAQs
Q: Where can I learn more about Clarivoy's Onboarding process for dealers?
A: For an overview of the Onboarding process, see Clarivoy Comcast Attribution Onboarding Process
Q: What are Clarivoy's CRM access requirements?
A: Vendor specific instructions detailing what CRM access is required can be found here: CRM Leads Data (What/Why/How). Clarivoy will communicate the request to the dealer during the Onboarding process, after the ADUA has been signed and the website tag has been loaded.
Technical FAQs
Q: Can Clarivoy aggregate results from multiple CAM IDs on a single report?
A: Yes! Simply provide all of the CAM IDs on the report request form. Results from all CAM IDs will be aggregated on the output report. If you wish to have the results separated by CAM ID, you will need to make a separate report request for each CAM ID.
Q: Can Clarivoy aggregate multiple domains on one web report?
A: Yes! Simply enter the multiple domains in the report request form under Primary Domains and/or Cross-Family Domains. On Web reports, the results are separated into 2 “buckets” or sets of metrics based on how the domains were entered into the report request form: Primary and Cross-Family.
Q: Can Clarivoy separate web report results by domain?
A: Yes! The process varies depending on the number of domains:
• If you have 2 domains and want results separated, you can enter one domain as the Primary Domain and the other as the Cross-Family Domain. On Web reports, the results are separated into 2 “buckets” or sets of metrics based on how the domains were entered into the report request form: Primary and Cross-Family.
• If you have 3 or more domains and need results separated by individual domain, you will need to make a separate report request for each domain.
Q: Can Clarivoy aggregate Sales or Leads from multiple stores on a single Sales or Leads report?
A: Yes! When submitting the report request, for the Primary Domain, enter either:
- A group domain - Sales or Leads will be aggregated for all stores listed on the group domain's Locations page.
- Multiple individual store domains - Sales or Leads will be aggregated for all stores whose websites are listed in the Primary Domain field
Q: Can Clarivoy separate Sales or Lead report results by store?
A: Yes! If you want a separate report for each store in a multi-store group, enter a separate report request for each store.
Q: Can Clarivoy aggregate Web, Sales, and Leads attribution on a single report?
A: This is not currently possible. Web, Sales, and Leads are delivered as 3 separate reports due to the different metrics included on each report type.
Q: Is sales data used for attribution inclusive of new AND used/CPO?
A: Yes, we include New, Used and CPO sales that are logged in the dealer's CRM (or DMS if they are an existing Clarivoy Multi-Touch Sales Attribution customer).
Report Data FAQs
Q: Do we de-duplicate site visitations when the previous quarter's attribution window extends into the start of the next quarter?
A: The simple answer is no — because each impression is evaluated independently within its own attribution window.
The more detailed answer: Given a Household with BGID BR549:
- HH-BR549 receives an impression (m_txid ABC123) on 12/15/2025. Clarivoy examines the subsequent 30 days for a site visit. A visit occurring on 1/14/2026 is therefore attributed to impression ABC123.
- HH-BR549 also receives an impression (m_txid XYZ456) on 1/2/2026. That same 1/14/2026 visit falls within this impression's 30-day window as well, so it is also attributed to XYZ456.
In other words, the same site visit can be attributed to multiple impressions when each impression's attribution window independently overlaps with that visit. This is expected behavior — it reflects two distinct impression events.
