Connecting to DataGrip

Must have a GitHub account and be a member of the Clarivoy organization on GitHub in order to access these instructions. To be added to the Clarivoy organization, ask Engineering.

Using DataGrip

Toolbar Buttons for Query Console Windows

• + to add a row
• - to delete a row
• ⬆︎ to commit changes to the database

Executing Statements

To execute statements and queries: CTRL+ENTER to execute.

After executing, wait for confirmation. If successful, the Services output window will confirm something like this:

Windows & Views

• To create a new console window: File -> New -> Query Console 
• If Services tab is missing at bottom (Console output), go to View -> Tool Window -> Services (or press command+8). If that does not work, go to View -> Appearance -> Enter Distraction Free Mode, then View -> Appearance -> Exit Distraction Free Mode. Then Services tab should appear (if not press command+8 again).
