What:  Clarivoy can accept Leads, Sales, and Service data via our Secure FTP server.  An automated data transfer by a scheduled job is preferred to ensure data is received on a regular basis.

When:  The frequency of your data delivery can vary, but we prefer Daily.  If Daily transfer is not available, we recommend once Monthly (Leads on the 1st of the month, Sales on the day your accounting department has closed out the month).  We try to avoid Weekly data transfer as that can cause delays in the delivery of dealer's sales attribution data, depending on what day of the week the month end falls on.

File Format must be CSV (UTF-8 preferred) or XLSX (* If XLSX, file must not be password protected or encrypted)

The File Name format varies depending on the data type being sent:  Sales, Leads, or Service.

Sales File Naming

For SALES: SALES_DEALERSHIP _DATE.CSV 
Example: SALES_ABCMOTORS_20240501.CSV

• DEALERSHIP
  • If multiple dealerships in 1 file, DEALERSHIP = the Client Name
  • If single dealership per file, DEALERSHIP = the Clarivoy Property ID # (will be provided to you)
• DATE = the date the file is delivered in YYYYMMDD format

Leads File Naming

For Leads: LEADS_LEADTYPE_VENDOR_DEALERSHIP_DATE.CSV 
Example: LEADS_CRM_VINSOLUTIONS_ABCMOTORS_20240501.CSV

• LEADTYPE = one of the following: CRM, CALLTRACKING, CHAT, EMAILOPENS, DIRECTMAIL, TVSPOTS
• VENDOR = The data vendor name
• DEALERSHIP
  • If multiple dealerships in 1 file, DEALERSHIP = the Client Name
  • If single dealership per file, DEALERSHIP = the Clarivoy Property ID # (will be provided to you)
• DATE = the date the file is delivered in YYYYMMDD format

Service File Naming

For Service: SERVICE_VENDOR_DEALERSHIP_DATE.CSV
Example: SERVICE_TEKION_ABCMOTORS_20240501.CSV

• VENDOR = The data vendor name
• DEALERSHIP
  • If multiple dealerships in 1 file, DEALERSHIP = the Client Name
  • If single dealership per file, DEALERSHIP = the Clarivoy Property ID # (will be provided to you)
• DATE = the date the file is delivered in YYYYMMDD format
