Sales Influence and Cost Analysis
This section of tiles gives you insight into how many sales were influenced by the Source and how that is changing over time, as well as how it compares to your other data. A full view of your data is available if you upgrade to an Unlimited Sources subscription.
Total sales influenced
The main data point represents all sales influenced in the time range of the report. Upon your second month of data, the subtext will represent the sales influence for prior period. The icon will represent the change from the prior period and whether the metric has changed for the better, the worse, or gray if there is no data or the metric did not change. If you hover over the icon, you can see the amount of change in the metric.
Sale Source Influence Rank
The primary data point in this tile gives you the “rank” of the selected Source amongst all other sources with sales attributed in the time selected in the date picker. Example: If Source is the 2nd highest Source by number of attributed sales in the timeframe and 26 distinct sources had at least 1 sale, this would read “2 of 26”). The sub text gives a rank for the Prior Period. The icon will represent the change from the prior period and whether the metric has changed for the better (green), the worse (red), or gray if there is no data or the metric did not change. If you hover over the icon, you can see the amount of change in the metric.
Cost Per Sale
The main data point represents your Cost per Sale ($) for the Source in the time selected. This is calculated by taking the total amount in your ad spend for the time period and dividing it by the number of sales influence. The Prior Period subtext shows the Cost per Sale for the prior period. The icon will represent the change from the prior period and whether the metric has changed for the better (green), the worse (red), or gray if there is no data or the metric did not change. If you hover over the icon, you can see the amount of change in the metric.
Average Touchpoints Per Sale
This tile presents how much activity (touchpoints) this Source has on average per sale. This metric gives you an idea of how much your buyers interact with this Source prior to purchase. The subtext gives you the Touchpoints per sale for the Prior Period, and the icon helps you see quickly if it went up or down. When you hover over the primary data point, you can see the amount of change in the metric.
Total Sales Influenced Over Time
In the over time view, you are able to see both Total Sales and % of Sales that the Source has had influence in, so you can quickly see if the Source has maintained its level of influence or dropped/increased. The left axis shows how many total were influenced - this is the blue line. The right axis indicates what % of overall sales were influenced by the Source - this is the black line.
Percent of All Sales Influenced
This donut chart represents the percent of sales influence for the Source (blue), and shows the % of influence that all other Sources (gray) had in the given time frame. Below, you can see the average for the Source (blue), alongside the average for all the other Sources (gray) in the prior time frame.
Total Revenue Generated
This donut chart represents the total Revenue Generated by the Source (blue), and shows the total Revenue Generated by other Sources (gray) in the given time frame. Below, you can see the total Revenue Generated by the Source (blue), alongside the total Revenue Generated by other Sources (gray) in the prior time frame.
New vs. Used Ratio
This donut shows a split of the percent of sales that were influenced by the Source, New in blue, Used in gray. Below, you can compare this to the prior period of New and Used cars influenced by the Source.
Lead Mix and Contribution

Total Leads
This data point represents the total number of leads (regardless of attribution state) that were received from the Source with dates occurring in the time period selected. Beneath the lead count you will see the lead count for the Prior Period. The icon next to the lead count will be green if the lead count has gone up, red if the lead count has decreased, or gray if there is no change to the lead count when compared to the count in the prior period. When you hover over the icon, the popup will contain information about how much the number changed compared to prior period.
Leads Converted to Sales
This data point represents the total number of leads (regardless of attribution state) that were attributed to a sale in the time period selected. Beneath the Leads Converted to Sales, you will see the count for the same metric in the Prior Period. The icon next to the lead count will be green if the metric has gone up, red if the metric has decreased, or gray if there is no change to the metric when compared to the prior period. When you hover over the lead count, the popup will contain information about how much the number changed compared to prior period.
Cost per Lead
This metric gives you insight into how much you are paying to get a lead from the Source.

Lead Closing Ratio
In this tile, you can see the ratio of leads received in the selected time period to the number of leads that were attributed to sales occurring in the sam time period. Below, you will see the same metric for the prior month. The icon next to the lead count will be green if the metric has gone up, red if the metric has decreased, or gray if there is no change to the metric when compared to the prior period. When you hover over the lead count, the popup will contain information about how much the number changed compared to prior period.
Percent of Total Leads
The donut shows the quantity of leads from the Source compared to all the others leads received by the rooftop in the given time period. When you hover over the icon, the popup will illustrated the number for the Source and all others. Beneath the donut, you can review the same percent of leads that existed for the prior period.
Percent of Sales with a Lead
The donut shows the number of attributed sales that also have a lead submitted from that Source along their path to purchase, vs those sales that were attributed but did not have a lead submitted. Below, you can see this metric for the prior period.
Total Leads Over Time
The line graph represents the number of total leads in blue and the percent of all leads (in gray) the Source had in the given time period, or over the last 90 days. When you hover over each month data point, you can see the number/percent in the popup box.

Raw Sales Match and Detail Logs (data grid of Sales Matching Log)
From left you right the columns represented are:
- Date = date of the sales transaction
- Type = Type of sale
- IP address = IP address, referenced but not shown for compliance
- Vehicle Sold = New/Used + Year + Make + Model + Trim of the vehicle purchased
- Sales ID = Hashed numbers showing the ID of the Sale, this number is unique within Clarivoy
- [Matched Digital ID = Hashed identifier unique per buyer within Clarivoy
- Source = Source name in the report
- Match Type = this shows that the sales attribution for this record has gone through auditing for verification
