Troubleshooting S3 Bucket Access
If you are receiving this error from FileZilla Pro:
Failed to open “https://clarivoy.awsapps.com/start/#device?user_code…..” in default browser
Try this:
- Allow FileZilla Pro Automation Access
- Go to: Apple Menu → System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation
- Look for FileZilla / FileZilla Pro
- Ensure permission is toggled ON to control/open your default browser (Safari/Chrome/etc.).
This is the most common cause of the "Operation not permitted" error when something tries to open a browser via OAuth/SSO.
- Check "Open Links From Applications"
- System Settings Desktop & Dock → Default Web Browser
- Just make sure a browser is selected.
- Then try again — sometimes macOS blocks apps launching URLs if no browser is defined.
