How to Configure an ODA Property in the DMUI

On-Demand Attribution (ODA) Properties use a different configuration than standard Sales Attribution implementations. This guide outlines the required naming convention and DMUI settings for creating an ODA Property.

Each participating dealership should have its own ODA Property.

When to Create an ODA Property

Create an ODA Property when a dealership is participating in Clarivoy's On-Demand Attribution (ODA) product.

Unlike standard Sales Attribution implementations, ODA Properties are configured specifically for on-demand attribution reporting and do not require website tracking.

⚠️ Safety Warning

Create one ODA Property for each participating dealership. Do not combine multiple rooftops into a single ODA Property.

Naming Standard

ODA Properties should follow the standard Property naming convention with "– ODA" appended to the Property Name.

Example

Standard Property ODA Property
EXAMPLE Ford EXAMPLE Ford – ODA
EXAMPLE Honda EXAMPLE Honda – ODA

This naming convention clearly distinguishes ODA Properties from standard Sales Attribution Properties.

ODA Property Configuration

Configure the Property using the following standards.

Field Standard
Property Name Property Name – ODA
Visible in Dropdown TRUE
SA Dashboard Visible TRUE
Tag Monitor FALSE
Is ODA TRUE
Domain List Leave blank
Address Leave blank

Configuration Notes

ODA Properties differ from standard Sales Attribution Properties in several important ways:

  • Website tracking is not used.
  • No website domains should be entered.
  • No physical address is required.
  • Each rooftop receives its own dedicated ODA Property.

Before You Save

Before saving the Property, verify that:

  • The Property Name follows the Property Name – ODA naming standard.
  • Visible in Dropdown is set to TRUE.
  • SA Dashboard Visible is set to TRUE.
  • Tag Monitor is set to FALSE.
  • Is ODA is set to TRUE.
  • The Domain List is blank.
  • The Address is blank.

🛠️ Shop Tip

Always verify the current DMUI Flag Configuration Guide before saving the Property. Product-specific flags may change over time.
