Cross Family

This page is applicable if the dealer is running Sales Attribution analysis for more than one store.

This analysis shows the sales at the selected property that were influenced by other properties in the family. For multi-store dealerships we attribute sales to all touchpoints across the family. For example, a shopper may click on paid search to arrive at one store’s site and then ultimately purchase from a different store in the family. We would attribute some credit for the sale to the paid search click, since it brought the buyer to an associated website during their purchase journey.

  • The first column of data reflects the total attributed sales, whether the influence originated at the selected property or at another in the family.
    • Note: this number is different from and higher than the total that appears on other pages, such as Sales Overview and Sales over Time, because it includes duplicate attributions. It’s the sum of the attributions in all the columns on this page. In other words, if a buyer clicked on a paid search ad for store A and then on a paid search ad for Store B and then purchased from store A, then the total attributed sales in the first column would say TWO.
  • The second column reflects sales that originated with channels and sources specific to this property. For example, paid search clicks that land on this property’s site or emails that are sent by this property.
  • The third column is the percentage of total influenced sales that came from this property’s own tactics.
  • The remaining columns reflect the contribution of other properties in the family. This indicates when a buyer responded to marketing tactics from another property (such as paid search, display, email, etc.) but then purchased from the selected property.
