This is an overview of the marketing channels and sources that buyers encountered before they purchased. Each bar represents a different channel, with the number reflecting the vehicles sold that this channel is credited with influencing. Each bar displays both new and used vehicles; dark blue is for new vehicles and light blue is for used vehicles.
Clicking on each channel will then display the sources that influenced sales within that channel. Clicking again on the source will bring the user back the channel overview.
Channel – categories of marketing tactics, such as paid search or (digital) display
Source – the specific vendors and platforms that execute these tactics, such as Facebook or Autotrader
There is a flyout filter on the left (in a green tab) that when pulled out gives you a few options for additional analysis:
The one called “Third Party Auto” will show the Third Party Auto partners who have put our tracking code on their site and enable us to attribute sales to anonymous traffic on their sites. The default for the dashboard is to have these views turned on, but you can click on each one to toggle them off and show the attribution to these pageviews. Clicking on “include” will include all of the partners at once, and “exclude” will turn them all off again. The setting applies to all other related pages and defaults back to “include” only if you change the attribution model.
The one called “Vehicle Types” will show how many of your attributed sales are classified as New, Used, or Unclassified. The default for the dashboard is to have these views turned off, however you can click on each one to toggle them on and show the attribution to these pageviews.
Navigation:
